Library is a collective of independent photographers, designed to centralise the role of the photographers and distribute resources to fulfil the myriad of duties to showcase the work and find couples to work with.
We are quite Anti-Wedding Commercialism. This just means we have never treated our couples or our photos as a product or marketing tool. We don’t have hidden costs, agendas or intentions.
We believe in love and the ritual of the wedding celebration and see this as important and exciting work.

My whole career has been this. It was 15 years ago I went to my first wedding, a defining moment that shaped my outlook on what love is and how important the role is to tell that story.
Ultimately, I kept shooting weddings because I wanted to see love up close, in all its forms. I wanted to learn from every culture what family meant and each archetype's roles in love. It has been an obsession.
Experience doesn’t exceed the truth, but in combination it becomes invaluable. Experience means less time worrying and considering things like lighting or composition or anticipating an important moment, at least in my front mind. It means there is space and time for presence, to see clearly.
When you book me, I’ll be there for you. I set up a direct line of contact where you can reach me anytime with anything big or small, like a friend. The more the better, it’s how I build my understanding of who you are and what is important to you.
On the day, I’m also going to be there for you, working and present. I’m not directing in a way that steals the show or shooting photos that simply tick the boxes. I’m constantly observing and trying to move gracefully. Everything I perceive is going in and forming an understanding of how the day feels, who played certain roles and importantly where was the love? What was the evidence of what this couple made together?
With my entire embodied being, I believe that art imbues magic when it is created and expressed honestly.
So I think there is a certain importance of who the artist is and what they embody to consider when commissioning them for this work.

Our coverage is quite extensive, it usually shocks our couple how many photos they receive. You will get roughly 100 photos per hour that we are shooting, usually a bit more if there are two photographers. every photo is custom edited to a look we create to suit your day.

We currently work on a 2-3 week turnaround. sometimes it will be 4 but sometimes it will be 1 week. It all depends on the season but because we limit how many weddings we book a year the turn around is usually quite quick. We touch base when they start in production and let you know when to expect them. You’ll always get plenty of warning so you can plan your night to view them.

Yes! We will always detail an extensive list of family photos that we need to get, I will also do some formal portraits looking at the camera. the direction is light and suggestive rather than forceful.

The best way to determine how many hours you need is to start 2 hours before the ceremony for getting ready photos and portraits, you can finish the coverage at the end of formalities but more often than not we are shooting until the end of the night.

If your date is available, we just require a deposit of $1250. You will be sent a payment link and a contract when you’re ready to go forward.

We just do still photos however we are working on partnerships for video and content creation. If you prfer it to be in one package we can customise a quote for you to work with people we trust.

I can travel anywhere, we just require the travel costs to be added to your quote which usually includes flights, 2 nights accommodation and car hire if it is needed.
